Zucchini Sandwich Recipe

Zucchini is not for everyone. In fact if you feel all zucchini recipes are better without the zucchini, this recipe is not for you. However, if you enjoy growing or end up with more zucchini than you need, here’s a tasty way to enjoy that summer veggie.

What you need.

1. Zucchini
2. Sharp Knife
3. Large Frying Pan
3. Your Favorite Sandwich Ingredients and Condiments


1. Slice zucchini in lengthwise into 1/8th inch slices.
2. Frying pan should be heated up to medium heat.
3. Add a little butter or olive oil to pan. If your first thought is to add bacon grease, ask yourself why you’re cooking zucchini.

4. Cook zucchini on both sides until brown.
5. Layer zucchini onto bread with other ingredients.

Some of the best additives to this sandwich are sharp cheddar cheese with dill. Fresh sliced tomatoes, malabar spinach, banana peppers and basil are also excellent additions to this sandwich.
